When is my UCR due?
Every year, and it doesn’t renew itself. Here are the three dates that matter for 2026.
Registration opens
October 1, 2025
Due by
December 31, 2025
Enforced from
January 1, 2026. From that date a state can cite you at the roadside, so filing in February means you were unregistered all January.
Is there any reason to wait?
No. The price is the same in October as it is in March, and filing early simply means it is done.
